CEU Course Description
The elderly population comprises one of the fastest growing segments of the overall health care population. Elderly patients rely on health care professionals for the most basic of needs and are often the most vulnerable of patients. Health care ethics were devised as a guide to care for vulnerable patients in a manner which is effective, efficient and in line with the ethical obligations of the health care professional. This CEU will review the most essential and universal principles of health care ethics, while highlighting their relationship to the ethical administration of health care to elderly patients.
